Article 2: Giveaway rules and contest dates
On Instagram: Each participant must:
- Be subscribed to Valords @barcelona.valords and Otoctone Yachting @otoctone.yachting;
- Like the giveaway post;
- Comment and tag at least one person on the post.
The giveaway will run from May 12 to August 29, inclusive, on Instagram.
Article 3: Draw method
Valords will conduct a random draw by extracting the names of participants in the giveaway. A winner will be chosen on August 30, and the results will be published within the following 7 days.
Article 4: Persons eligible to participate in the contest
The giveaway is open to any resident of Europe who can travel to Barcelona to enjoy the prize at the following address: Moll de La Barceloneta, 1, Ciutat Vella, 08039 Barcelona, Spain, Marina Port Vell.
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
The winner will be selected at random from participants who meet all participation conditions and may bring one person to the event. Travel and accommodation expenses in Barcelona are the responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise stated.
Article 5: Prize delivery and conditions of use
The winner will be contacted via Instagram private message (Instagram giveaway) and LinkedIn (LinkedIn giveaway) within 48 hours of the end of the giveaway. If the winner does not respond within 7 days of the message being sent, a new draw will be conducted to select a new winner.
The winner will receive an invitation to experience the America's Cup aboard our Otoctone Eco 80 yacht, including a meal on board. This event will take place alongside other participants and does not include a private rental of the catamaran. The yacht will only sail if weather conditions permit.
Article 6: Protection of personal data
6.1 – Processing of personal data
Rancel Consulting & Modenature, whose identities are specified in Article 1, serve as the data controllers and take the necessary measures to ensure the protection and confidentiality of the personal information they hold or process, in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The legal basis for processing participants' data is the execution of the contractual provisions established by these terms and conditions.
The legal basis for processing the winner's data will be consent.
The winning participant authorizes the publication of their name or Instagram username to announce the result.
6.2 – Categories of data processed
- Identity data: Instagram username or name and surname on LinkedIn.
- Data related to contest participation: Comment date.
- Data related to the publication of the winner.
6.3 - Purposes of data processing
The aforementioned data will be processed to:
- Ensure the smooth running of the giveaway on Instagram, on the indicated dates;
- Confirm that each participant meets the contest conditions;
- Select the winner using the draw tool;
- Inform the winner of the steps to take to claim their prize;
- Publish the winner's account name and photo.
6.4 – Data recipients
The personal data of participants collected are intended for:
- The Valords communication department attached to our real estate agency in Barcelona
- The partner, Otoctone Yachting.
6.5 – Retention period
The personal data collected related to the participation in the contest will be kept for 30 days after the announcement of the winner.
The personal data related to the publication of the winner will be retained until the withdrawal of their consent.
6.6 – Rights related to the protection of personal data
In accordance with current European regulations, participants in the contest can access their data or request its deletion. You also have the right to object, correct, and limit the processing of your data (see cnil.fr for more information on your rights).
