Thomas & Ignace Vantorre
Over half a century making waves, together

The two brothers share much more than simply being twins. Passionate about water sports since their student days, they taught windsurfing in northern France, their homeland. Today, they still meet up whenever they can to practice wingfoiling in different corners of the world. But they also share another passion (a slightly more sedentary one) for architecture and the beauty of stone.

Thomas has been channeling that passion since 2014 with his six agencies specializing in high-end properties in Catalonia and France, as well as with his company dedicated to corporate real estate.

Since 2020, with Otoctone, Ignace has been developing a unique collection of exclusive retreats designed for complete disconnection, located in extraordinary natural settings: in the mountains or, once again, by the water.

People and ethics are at the heart of the project; for Thomas and Ignace, this is not just a priority but a given, likely rooted in their fraternal bond.

Both are engineers by training.
Thomas built his first technical and managerial career in the international arena over 20 years in the nanotechnology sector, with companies such as IBM and STMicroelectronics.
Ignace, for his part, is the founder of the Sogelink group, Europe’s leader in construction tech. From their previous professional lives, they carry with them, among other things, a quality not always automatically attributed to profiles like theirs: creativity.

And yet, the constant search for new approaches, the continuous improvement of existing processes, and the obsession with always finding the best solution are now all serving Valords’ performance.
